This quirky photo-op is located near Frontier Town in Berlin, Maryland, just off Stephen Decatur Highway (US 611). According to a sign posted nearby, this 31.5-foot-long Great White Shark is believed to be an original prop from the 1975 blockbuster movie Jaws. Specifically, it’s said to be the fourth version of “Bruce,” constructed from the original molds used in the film’s production.
The shark was originally placed outside of PopCe’s Homemade Ice Cream, a small roadside stand that welcomed visitors with ice cream and a bit of movie history in 2000. It quickly became a beloved tourist photo-op, often displayed with a small rowboat to evoke one of the film’s iconic scenes.
In more recent years, the shark has reportedly been moved inside a pavilion at the Frontier Town campground and amusement area, across from its original outdoor perch. It remains a distinctive roadside attraction and a fun stop for both Jaws fans and travelers exploring the Delmarva Peninsula.
