The Golden Goose is a vintage neon sign that once belonged to the Golden Goose Casino, a small but iconic gambling hall on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. The casino operated from the 1970s until the 1980s and was known for its lively atmosphere.
Though the casino is gone, the Golden Goose sign is now part of the Las Vegas Neon Sign Project, preserved on Fremont Street alongside other classic neon landmarks. The sign features a golden goose perched atop a spinning nest of golden eggs.
The best time to photograph the Golden Goose is at twilight, when its neon glow stands out against the backdrop of downtown Vegas. The photo featured here is from the early afternoon, when there is less of a crowd.
Address: 212 Fremont Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
