On this page, we list some of these opportunities as they become available. We only include contests that have prizes that we feel have some actual value to travel photographers (exposure is nice, but does not qualify here unless we feel it’s an amazing opportunity!) We do not list contests that come down to a “popular vote” at the end. We also try to avoid obvious scams, but advise you to read the rules carefully before entering! Contest: Happy Chinese New Year 2023
Description:Sharing China 2023 is calling for submissions of photos and videos from all over the world. Regardless of whether you are a professional or an amateur, who you are or where you are from, you are welcome to send us photos and videos of memorable moments from Chinese New Year celebrations.
Entry Fee: An entry fee is not listed.
Prize: The contest will select 50 photos (single or group). 5 first place photos, 15 second place photos and 30 third place photos will win cash prizes.
Eligibility: All entries must be real and not doctored or photo edited. The tone and color of the image may be slightly adjusted. Composition and clipping are allowed. Entries should be in JPG or JPEG format with a resolution of 300 dpi, no less than 2 MB for each, with the length no less than 3,000 pixels. Entries can be single photos or a series of photos. A series of photos counts as one entry and each series may contain four to ten photos.
